We have been in the custom clothing design business in Washington, DC for over 25 years. Formerly located on 18th Street in Adams Morgan, we moved several years ago to Northwest Massachusetts Avenue in Spring Valley, where the parking is much easier for our clients.

Our designer, Alvin Edward Thompson, trained at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, and then extended his knowledge of fashion design and manufacturing over the years he spent with the noted Washington Italian Fashion firm of Salvi of Florence. What most sets New Couture™ apart from the competition is the attention we pay to the bride's likes and dislikes.
